I have been trying to conceive for over 13yrs without luck only to be diagnosed with adenomyosis a mth ago and now I know why it was so hard to conceive so I'm now trying to find a where around the horrible 😢 cramps that's so unbearable during day 1-3 I've tried so much pain meds but none like it seems to work for day 3... any recommendations for painkillers and to help lessen heavy bleeding?
Hi. Just recently diagnosed with adenomyosis. Stupid Q, but I’m dreading my next period at work or anywhere from home. Are they any heavy duty pads that work? Always, don’t make the grade for me anymore… I don’t know what else to wear! Help?
I've just had a gynaecology appointment after a 13 month wait (telephone appointment). The doctor has said from my symptoms and results of a previous ultrasound to check my mirena was where it should be, that it sounds like adenomyosis. I have asked her how we confirm whether it is or not, and she has said we can't, without a hysterectomy. I know other women who have had a diagnosis from an ultrasound and an internal exam. Should I ask for a second opinion?
Hi, any advice for post menopausal adenomyosis?
I’m 24 y/o, my mother was diagnosed with adenomyosis and my half aunt was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. I‘ve had exploratory surgery on the suspicion of endometriosis but they found no evidence of endometriosis. I’ve been switching birth controls to try to normalize my periods but it isn’t working and they seem to worsen with age. It is becoming life-consuming. my doctors don’t want to do a hysterectomy at this time. Do you have any experience with hysterscopy?
